My name is Carol Walston, owner of W.I.E.R., LLC in Parsonsburg, Maryland. I will work closely with your organization to understand your specific challenges and apply the appropriate industry experience, knowledge, and relentless energy to the development of long-term solutions for your organization. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in chemistry, and I have an MBA from Salisbury University. I began my career at Occidental Chemical’s plastics plant as a plant chemist.

Through more than 20 years at that facility, I had the pleasure of developing my career through increasingly responsible roles from Process Engineering, Technical Sales, Operations Manager and finally Quality and R&D Manager.

After my years at the Occidental facility, which is currently owned by Spartech Plastics, I spent time working either as the director of operations or in a consultant role in various industries, including chemicals, plastics, solvent reclamation, renewable fuels, and food manufacturing. 

Today, I specialize in working with companies in the fields of Operational Excellence, application of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, Good Manufacturing Processes, and the development and auditing of sound EH&S programs. 

With more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing and the successful completion of various projects and operational improvement initiatives, I can work effectively with your staff. I will listen to their ideas and help them implement the changes necessary to successfully achieve your objectives.
